It was 100 questions in 1 1/2 hour. It covered 1st 3 chapters of Junquiera's histology. The faculty calls the exam a quiz, but in reality it is still a test.

Bought microwave from Mega Avans electronics store at the Stary Browar mall for 160z. I took the taxi home. Cost me 12zl.
Bought Lippincott's biochemistry book for 145zl ($42 at the time). The bookseller is near the university economics building, supposedly the tallest building in Poznan.
Went to Piotr i Pawel to buy groceries. I had some bananas among other groceries that I took to the cashier's. The lady got a little upset when she looked at the bag of bananas and started saying something in Polish that I didn't understand. Apparently, I should have taken the bananas to a weighing counter where they put the barcoded sticker of the weight and price on the bag. The lady was nice enough to do that for me. Now I know what to do with fresh produce before taking it to the chashier.
I rested for two hours. I asked some students where I could get a phone card to call America. A second year student wrote down the phrase prosze karte cipowa 30zl. That's Polish for please chip card 30 zl (Polish currency). The gas station near Eskulap (another dormitory 5 minutes away by foot) didn't have the card. The girl at the counter said Nie mam, Polish for I don't have it. I bought milk, eggs, water & the phone card from Piotr i Pawel, the grocery store behind Eskulap.
Going to Poznan via Munich. Lufthansa flight 453 took off from Los Angeles around 5pm.
Departing flight for Poznan left at 3:20 pm from Munich. I arrived at 4:30 pm in Poznan on September 6. Took taxi from the airport to Rokietnicka street where Medyk & Aspyranka dormitories are located. I arrived at Medyk around 5:15pm & cost me 28zl. As soon as I had placed my luggage on the ground, two second year students came out of Aspyranka & helped me with my luggage and getting the dorm room key from the porter as I didn't speak any Polish.
